Vibe Alchemy × MoveSpace

In September 2026, Vibe Alchemy popped up at MoveSpace, an Auckland artist and creative community on Dominion Road, for a week of private Reiki and energy work sessions.

The collaboration began with a simple question: what might energy work have to offer a creative community?

Rather than bringing my usual private practice into a different room unchanged, I developed a special 30-minute Reiki Reset as an accessible introduction to my work, alongside messaging created specifically around the experiences of artists and creatives: stress and emotional load, sensitivity, instinct, feeling stuck, and creating enough internal space for ideas and expression to move.

The collaboration extended beyond the treatment room. I also wrote Can’t Create? Maybe Creativity Isn’t the Problem? specifically for the MoveSpace community, exploring creative flow through the lens of emotional processing, energetic movement, grounding and expression.

Together, the pop-up and editorial became an experiment in taking Reiki outside its more familiar wellness settings and translating energy work into a conversation relevant to the community I was entering.
