Why I’m Reframing My Monthly “Zodiac” Energy Readings: A Note From The Author

Over the past few months, I’ve been sharing what I’ve called seasonal zodiac energy forecasts.
They’ve followed the astrological transit calendar, Aquarius season, Capricorn season, Sagittarius season, for the simple reason that transit astrology is a very useful frame through which I view current energetics, informing both personal and collective experiences with a high degree of predictive accuracy. While astrology absolutely informs my work (and will continue to do so by nature of what it is), I’ve also noticed something important that is guiding me to make this change:
These readings are providing a window into the upcoming energetics of the people I am serving, and they are telling me an important story about the paths they are walking.
Astrology Is Still There — It’s Just Not the Headline
Astrological transits absolutely influence the energetic climate. They always will.
But what I’ve noticed is that the monthly themes coming through are often less about the energetics of the solar zodiac sign, and more about the collective planets having the greatest impact on "my collective" (the individuals who resonate with my work).
They reflect:
Collective tensions consistently appearing as life themes.
The emotional patterns surfacing in sessions.
The nervous system states presenting repeatedly.
The identity shifts my clients are navigating.
Often, by mid-month, I find myself recommending that month’s reading and supporting content directly to clients because it so accurately describes what they are moving through.
Which brings me to this subtle but important reframe:
Rather than decribing these readings as “Pisces Season” or “Capricorn Season,” I’ll now be sharing them as Monthly Collective Energy Readings.
The content is likely to continue in the same vein, with a title that hopefully better captures what's actually being delivered: the emerging storyline of the collective I serve.
The Two Collective Paths
My initial intent in including 2 groups in my collective readings was to provide a bit of variety. What has emerged over time, however, is a clear and ongoing story of 2 groups, which I actually see as being non-fixed "stages" that the individuals I am serving seem to find themselves in along their evolutionary journeys.
One group is often:
Arriving and stabilising.
Rebuilding emotional resource.
Learning to feel safely.
Integrating insight gently.
Strengthening boundaries and nervous system capacity.
The other group is typically:
Being asked to expand.
Being asked to release identity structures.
Navigating initiatory growth.
Letting go of roles that once provided safety.
Stepping into deeper alignment.
What’s important is this:
People move between these two states.
You may resonate with one group one month, and the other the next.
This is not a hierarchy or a reflection of progress, but rather an indication of the cyclicality of this type of healing process: sometimes you are expanding, and sometimes you are contracting. Both are correct. And each benefits from a different type of support.
And because I work closely with individuals inside these processes, I can see the collective patterning emerge very clearly.
Why This Reframe Matters
Words shape perception.
If someone reads “Aquarius Season Forecast” and sees little mention of Aquarius itself, there’s subtle confusion.
More importantly, I want the framing to reflect what these readings truly are:
Support tools for emotional and energetic integration.
They sit at the intersection of:
Energy healing
Nervous system awareness
Emotional processing
Spiritual maturation
Astrology informs the energetic weather. But the lived experience of my clients informs the translation.
And translation is where the value lies.
If You’ve Been Following These Readings
Nothing is being removed.
Nothing is being diluted.
If anything, this is a refinement.
A clearer articulation of what has always been happening beneath the surface.
These monthly readings are not predictions for predictions sake, but rather they are guides for what may be coming up and how best to approach.
They are mirrors for the subset of individuals who feel called into this work, who are actively engaging their healing, integration, and alignment.
If that’s you, you’re in the field I’m reading.
And I’ll continue to speak to it with care, nuance, and respect.
